Hi, I’m Whitney — a wife, mama of four, and artist living near the beach in Northwest Florida.

I’ve loved art for as long as I can remember. When I was little, I painted a rooster with my mom’s old paint set — it’s still hanging in our homeschool room today. I spent most of my childhood drawing and painting, entering art competitions, and just creating for the joy of it.

I studied Fine Arts at the University of Arkansas, but during that time I started to lose my spark a little. I was told to change the way I painted, and somewhere in trying to please others, I forgot how to paint for myself. After college, I moved into design and worked as a UX designer for nearly ten years. It was a great career, but I missed the feeling of creating with my hands.

About three years ago, I finally unpacked my old paints again. It was slow at first, but something in me came back to life. I started painting small pieces with water-soluble oils on paper, mostly landscapes from places I’ve been — the beach near our home, family trips, and scenes that remind me of God’s creation.

Now my work reflects soft, neutral tones and quiet, expressive strokes. My hope is that when someone brings a piece into their home, they feel the same peace I feel when I paint.

More than anything, I want my art to feel like a blessing in your home.
